Several Disney hotels are on the operating line for the Skyliner and allow you to take this fun mode of transportation to a few parks and other hotels. Minutes ago, Bob Chapek, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products, announced that Disney Skyliner will be ready to begin transporting guests at the Walt Disney World Resort beginning fall of 2019!. As many of you know, this new state-of-the-art gondola system will conveniently connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four resort hotels- Disney’s Art of Animation. Gondola cabins can be seen gliding above the treetops of the Walt Disney World Resort. Just like a magic carpet, Disney Skyliner soars above waterways and wooded areas alike on its way to theme parks and Disney resort hotels while guests are treated to views never before seen prior to this cool mode of transportation. Hours for the Disney Skyliner are slated to be 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM for EPCOT, and 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Disney Skyliner Gondola system transports guests to and from many Walt Disney World locations including theme parks and hotels. During this initial launch, there are 6 Skyliner stations and it goes to the following locations: Opening in fall 2019, the Disney Skyliner gondolas are a convenient way to travel between Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and other select locations at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. One of the benefits of the Disney Skyliner Gondola system was supposed to be that it would help eliminate some of the crowded streets in and around Walt Disney World. Now that bus service has been reduced to and from the Disney Skyliner Resort Hotels, it seems like that is starting to happen.. Since more people are taking the Skyliner, and it has proved to be pretty reliable in the past months.

Starting September 29, the Disney Skyliner will be taking flight across four resort hotels and two parks as a new addition to the complimentary transportation systems across the resort. Decorated with images of many beloved Disney, Pixar, Star Wars , and Marvel characters, each gondola gives guests a unique, never-before-seen view of Walt. As an added bonus, the Disney Skyliner hotels tend to be cheaper than the hotels connected to the Monorail, so this really is a win:win.
